One of the biggest challenges that many people have when it comes to running a business and becoming their own boss is the finance. It may well be that you are brilliant at the thing that you actually do: the service you give, the product you produce, but the numbers and finance might not be your strength.
It’s a very big issue in business and it’s something that many ‘Soul Traders’ especially often find challenging for all sorts of reasons. Being comfortable with numbers, understanding the terminology, being able to get your head around some of the specifics, the spreadsheets, the sums, the various tax and accounting aspects of business can be or seem daunting and difficult.
With this in mind I caught up with Numbers Coach Johnny Martin. Like myself Johnny is one of the delivery partners at the British Library’s Business & IP Centre in London. During this approx. 30min interview we discuss the themes above and the key of sales, profit and cashflow in business. This is really worth a watch.
